Alliance of Chinese Americans San Diego (ACA) is a nonprofit (501c3) organization dedicated to serving the Chinese community of San Diego. ACA assists Chinese newcomers in achieving the American Dream, by working to create and maintain an inclusive, diverse, and harmonious society. ACA promotes policies that advance its core values – equality, freedom, and justice – and advocates on behalf of every individual’s right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

APAPA Houston Chapter started services for greater Houston area since 2017.We had provided opportunities for civic engagements, youth leadership training, Summer Internship programs for college students, community services and API community oriented cultural programs. “







APAPA Ohio was founded in 2017, and it operates at Columbus, Cleveland and Cincinnati, with youth program being one of the main focus, to grow our youth into leaders of today and tomorrow.







“APAPA is a non-profit, non-partisan and grassroots organization founded in 2001 by C.C. Yin and a pioneering group of fellow civic-minded friends and community leaders. APAPA was established with the primary mission of empowering Asian Pacific Islander (API) Americans in civic and public affairs through education, active participation, and leadership development.
The Peninsula Chapter (PNC) was founded in April 2014. We aim to empower, engage, and inspire our community, especially our youth, to become future leaders actively involved in civil engagements. Our goal is to foster long-term relationships with other communities and public officials to effect greater and deeper rooted change.
PNC’s Grand Opening in November 2015 was a huge success in rallying the community and beyond. The event garnered over 250 attendees, including esteemed guests such as Congressman Mike Honda, Senator Ted Gaines, State Controller Betty Yee, Assemblywoman Catharine Baker, Cupertino Mayor Barry Chang, Atherton Mayor Cary Wiest, and many others. The event was very well received and armed with copious food and drink, guests eagerly listened as leaders communicated the past accomplishments of APAPA and the unique position of the APAPA Peninsula Chapter to achieve future ones.
PNC holds a unique strength among all APAPA chapters, its vibrance pervading from inside out. Its inherent location in the heart of Silicon Valley, the world’s epicenter of technical innovation, engenders a deeply talented and influential community that it serves.

APAPA SOC works to fulfill this mission and achieve these objectives in Solano County.

Austin Chapter has the internship program for the past 6 years and our candidate forum for every year for the past 5 years. We have been in partnership with APIAVote for the past 5 years also to engage and empower our API community.

As a grassroots, community-based, non-profit, non-political, non-partisan organization, APAPA focuses on increasing API civic participation at the local, state, and national level through voter registration and education, civic leadership programs including internships and scholarships for college students, fellowship and mentorship for adults leading to appointive, judicial and elective offices. Here in San Francisco, we are especially proud of our robust summer internship program for college students, and our voter registration program in building a strong and represented voting base.
